Samsung Electronics, a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies, today announced the new SCX range of printers designed to help large workgroups and small and medium businesses to increase productivity through a trouble-free printing experience.
The new product range unveiled includes the multi-functional printers SCX-4833FD, SCX-4833FR and SCX-5637FR. The new SCX series of printers are designed to provide optimum performance, productivity, ease-of-use, and efficiency.

Samsung’s SCX-4833FD, SCX-4833FR and SCX-5637FR series are equipped with four-in-one functionality that enables users to print, scan, copy and fax through an intuitive interface and a powerful engine. Target customers include small and medium workgroups who need a device that offers a productive, economical, and versatile solution for the office.
Samsung’s SCX-4833FD/4833FR/5637FR series support various paper types such as thick paper or cardstock and conveniently holds these pages in the cassette. Especially the SCX-5637FR model’s 600MHz dual core processor delivers faster throughput with large volume documents such as various graphs and images. The series has a capacity of up to 820 sheets of paper with second cassette option and support up to 80,000 prints of maximum monthly duty. In addition to incredible throughput, the SCX-5637FR also has 2GB hard disk capacity. This allows users to manage files directly on the machine and provides a useful additional storage resource.
With features like a one-touch ECO button that turns on environmentally-friendly settings like double-sided printing and toner saving mode, the SCX-4833FD/4833FR/5637FR series are economical and eco-friendly. An easy-to-read result simulator displays data on reduced carbon emissions, used electricity and the amount of saved paper based on the selected setting. A compact form factor ensures that this model takes up less space than competing products. Extra high yield toner can print up to 10,000 pages and results in a lower cost per page and fewer replacements on the SCX-5637FR series.
These machines come complete with Samsung’s in-house solution for fleet management and MPS. Samsung SyncThru-Admin remotely monitors and manages all Samsung device and print settings and the CounThru solution counts billing and job accounting. Unlike many competitor models in this category, Samsung has included specific anti-jam technology to prevent paper from miss-feeding through multiple pickups whilst software applications enable easy management of printing needs.
